Blended Valentine Background


Happy Friday! I’m popping in today with a cute little Valentine card, featuring another die cut window and blended background, using the adorable Stealing My Heart stamp set.

I stamped the thief first in Black on Bristol cardstock, and then colored him with ZIG’s and a Tim Holtz marker. After coloring, I die cut him, as well as sentiment from the adorable Love Bandit that I had stamped in Black.

To set the stage for the little guy, I die cut a heart from a cardstock panel, and blended a background using Cotton Candy and Pale Tomato. I may have a slight obsession with die cut heart openings and blended backgrounds…😜

I also stamped the accompanying sentiment in Black over the heart, and then created a shaker card, using some cheapo sequins I found at Joann’s.

Finally, I stamped the pretty Garden Tile background in Versamark and heat embossed in White, then adhered everything on the card base.
