Colored Vellum Card Set

Hello there! I’m popping in today with a pair of elegant cards featuring the Antique Bee & Flowers stamp, with some fun ZIG coloring on vellum.

The first card is heat embossed in gold on plain vellum, and then colored in with some ZIG’s. I love mixing my ZIG’s and a bit of water on vellum – it just blends like butter! I have a video on that HERE.

The stamp has a pretty bee in the center, but I really loved the flowers and wanted to focus on them, so I covered the bee on this one up with a hand trimmed purple heart and a white heat embossed sentiment. I didn’t use the handy Heart Infinity dies, because it covered up a bit of the wreath.

I topped the heart off with a white heat embossed sentiment stamped from Thank You Messages and Color Layering Fuchsia, and then finished the card off with some purple sequins.

For this next card, I heat embossed the image on woodgrain vellum, which you can see better in how the embossing and coloring finds those grooves.

Same deal as the first card, except the heat embossed sentiment, a mix of Irreverent Birthday Messages and Color Layering Happy Day Flowers on some black cardstock. I then die cut it with a circle die, and then topped it off with sequins as well.

These cards are both so quick and easy, and if you don’t want to bother with vellum, just use watercolor or Bristol cardstock!

Thanks so much for stopping in and God bless!
