See part 1 here.

I’m gonna preface this edition of Desk Talk with the statement that I’m a little bit of a sellout.

See, I have been running around like a headless chicken the past couple weeks/months, and I haven’t had much time/energy for posting here on the blog. However, when I got an e-mail from the Etsy Affiliate program, saying I could earn a $10 gift card by posting ten of my favorite Etsy things, I thought, why the heck not? I’ve wanted to share more of my exploration into washi tape world, and if I can get a gift card that allows me to buy more washi tape? Sign me up!

So just be warned, I’m using affiliate links below – but guess what guys? These are all products that I recently purchased myself, so it’s nothing I don’t already know and love.

Alright, now that we’ve established I’m a sellout only posting here so that I can fund my washi obsession, let’s move on.

Right after my move, I had been pretty good about not buying many craft products, since I knew it would be a while before I would have time and energy to use them. However, when doing some trend research at work, I found this little beaut…

Gold Particle Tape

And from there, it just spiraled out of control. I’m not gonna lie guys, I spent over $75. On washi tape. Call it what you will – idiotic, a moment of weakness – I’m just gonna say that washi tape is the only product in which I have a collectors mindset, which I think is pretty good for an avid stamper. 😉

There’s a couple more I purchased that I didn’t get around to sharing here, but I will hopefully soon be sharing some cards using some of the tapes shared here.

Storage

I also mentioned different washi tape storage solutions in my last washi post, but I found my favorite system a month back. I shared on Instagram Stories, but here’s a pic…

A wooden utensil organizer! Looks kinda full, but I’ve still got growing room on the sides of the rows.

Your Thoughts

What do you think? Aside from that I’m a little washi nut, that is. 😉

  1. I have recently become a bit obsessed with only the really unusual and pretty washi tapes. I love to seal the envelopes of cards I send out. I did a bit of searching on Amazon and did buy one set but their not exactly what I wanted. Thanks so much for sharing!

  2. Washi doin’ now? Lol! These are terrific! I especially love that night sky. (kind of reminds me of that galaxy tape from Altenew)
BTW, if that’s all the Washi tape you have, you’re still in amateur status!! hahaha!

    • LOL, D. Ann, I know! I thought I was doing so well, but when I put them all in the container, I thought “wow, I think I need to step up my game…” 😉 I haven’t seen the galaxy tape from Altenew, so I’ll have to give that a peek!
