I’m gonna preface this edition of Desk Talk with the statement that I’m a little bit of a sellout.
See, I have been running around like a headless chicken the past couple weeks/months, and I haven’t had much time/energy for posting here on the blog. However, when I got an e-mail from the Etsy Affiliate program, saying I could earn a $10 gift card by posting ten of my favorite Etsy things, I thought, why the heck not? I’ve wanted to share more of my exploration into washi tape world, and if I can get a gift card that allows me to buy more washi tape? Sign me up!
So just be warned, I’m using affiliate links below – but guess what guys? These are all products that I recently purchased myself, so it’s nothing I don’t already know and love.
Alright, now that we’ve established I’m a sellout only posting here so that I can fund my washi obsession, let’s move on.
Right after my move, I had been pretty good about not buying many craft products, since I knew it would be a while before I would have time and energy to use them. However, when doing some trend research at work, I found this little beaut…
And from there, it just spiraled out of control. I’m not gonna lie guys, I spent over $75. On washi tape. Call it what you will – idiotic, a moment of weakness – I’m just gonna say that washi tape is the only product in which I have a collectors mindset, which I think is pretty good for an avid stamper. 😉
Aroma Herb Tape (I didn’t notice any particular scent, but the tape is still pretty)
Floral Pattern Washi tapes, using wallpaper by William ??
Four Seasons (I’m not sure if it’s just the roll, but this tape is very splitty for me)
There’s a couple more I purchased that I didn’t get around to sharing here, but I will hopefully soon be sharing some cards using some of the tapes shared here.
I also mentioned different washi tape storage solutions in my last washi post, but I found my favorite system a month back. I shared on Instagram Stories, but here’s a pic…
A wooden utensil organizer! Looks kinda full, but I’ve still got growing room on the sides of the rows.
What do you think? Aside from that I’m a little washi nut, that is. 😉
