Floral Bouquet – Fifteen Minute Friday

Hey all! Today I’m sharing two cards, each of which can be made in fifteen minutes or less. They have the same essential design elements, but with a few differences.

This duo uses the newly released Color Layering Rose from Hero Arts. For both cards, I began by stamping the third rose layer image in Passion Flower, and then stamping the base layer of the leaves in Pool. The second leafy layer was stamped in Navy.

Some extra accents were stamped – little flowers from Color Layering Bouquet in Passion Flower, and some little leaves, from Little Florals, in Pool.

For both cards, I stamped the sentiment, also from Little Florals, in Versamark and heat embossed in White on navy cardstock. But for this first card, I die cut the navy using two dies from the Tag Frames Infinity dies. I adhered the larger die directly to the base, but popped the smaller die cut up with some scrap cardstock, so make it stand out a little more.

The second card follows the same program, but with the sentiment die cut using the Circle Infinity dies.

I also added some color-coordinating Pool gems for a little extra pizzaz.

Which version do you like better? These are both super quick to make – under fifteen minutes each – and switching up colors could make for a totally different feel. You could even use the coordinating dies from the Color Layering Rose set to add more dimension!

Check out my Instagram today to see the play-by-play creation of these cards, in my Stories.

Thanks so much for stopping in today and God bless!
