Making Mistakes Work

Happy Friday! Today I’ve got a “mistake” card for ya!

I was making the card for THIS video when I had a little bit of an issue with the embossing powder not getting full coverage. So I scrapped the card for the time being and restarted the video, but then came back to the card later. This time, I reversed where I placed the dark and light shades of the flower, using the same colors.

I topped the centers off with some Rainbow Rhinestones. For the sentiment, I die-cut a die from the March 2018 My Monthly Hero kit from pink cardstock and several layers of white cardstock. This kit isn’t sold out yet, so you can still grab these beautiful dies!

I adhered the layers together and then adhered the sentiment to the card.

Thanks for stopping in today and have a great weekend! God bless!

  1. Well, it might have been a mistake but you certainly turned it around and made a beautiful card from it. Well done!
