Hi there! Today I’m popping in with four cards you can make from one card kit.
The card kit I’m sharing today is the February My Monthly Hero kit, which, by the way, is not yet sold-out, so you still have a chance to grab one. 😉
Then I placed the panel on a card base, along with a strip of pretty woodgrain paper included in the kit. I topped everything off with a white heat embossed sentiment, some twine and some gems.
This is my favorite of the bunch – I actually posted about it on the Hero Arts blog HERE.
For this card, I inked up the various feather images using the rock-n-roll technique (for more details on this technique, visit the original Hero Arts blog post). I then added some black dots for a bit of filler between the feathers. The panel was cut in two, and some more pretty woodgrain paper placed underneath and between. Another white heat embossed sentiment and more gems finish off this card.
I stamped the branches in Mint Julep on the lightest Pool Layering paper, and then punches the left corners with my circle punch. I covered the nest die cut with Wet Cement for some color, and tucked some eggs in. Big thanks to the enormously talented and super sweet Janette for getting me (and the rest of the Hero Arts creative team) some of the die cuts before launch, using her Scan ‘n Cut.
And lastly, a card that utilities the fun little twig nests included in the kit.
I stamped most of the bird images on a white cardstock panel with Dusty Blue, and added some black dots for filler. I stamped the sentiment in black (shocker! no heat embossing!), and then freehand cut the bottom of the panel at a wavy angle. This was adhered to the card base with woodgrain cardstock (seriously, that stuff is soooo good).
I topped the card off with a little heart stamped in black on some woodgrain cardstock, and adhered to the card base along with a cute nest and some twine.
As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, all these cards were made primarily using supplies from the February My Monthly Hero kit. The kit is still available now, so you still have a chance to grab one.
