I started out by stamping the main astronaut from Astronomical in Charcoal, and then coloring super quick with ZIGs. I die cut it, and topped it with two tiny gray gems. I then figured out the placement of the card by die cutting an inked scrap into a circle, and then arranging the stamps around it. After figuring out the arrangement, I stamped the various bits and pieces in Soft Granite, Pale Tomato, Navy, Soft Vanilla and Butter Bar.
I then covered the inked background with Sparkle embossing powder, and die cut the stars. I adhered it down to the card base, and then also adhered a little tiny strip to the side of the card.
The die cut astronaut was adhered, and that finished off the card. I love this look and can’t wait to play more with this stamp set! Also, this is a great example of using up those backgrounds you worked so hard on, but didn’t quite work out for your project. 😉
Thanks for stopping in today and God bless!
