Watercolored Hummingbird V2 + VIDEO

Hello there! Today’s post uses some more of the beautiful Hummingbird stamp set and watercoloring with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors.

I shared a similar card back in February – today’s card is almost the exact same, just a different colorway.

I started by heat embossing the hummingbird, from the Hummingbirds stamp set, with Detail Black embossing powder and then colored it using Gansai Tambi watercolors. You can see exactly how I colored it in the video near the bottom of this post.

I die cut a heart from cardstock to create an opening for a blended background. The background was blended with Cotton Candy and Pale Tomato, and then I sprayed some white ink on the background for a little extra interest.

The sentiment was also heat embossed with Detail Black embossing powder, and then the card was topped off with some black gems.

For the side of the card, I heat embossed the Candy Stripe Bold Print in Black Detail embossing powder (noticing a trend here? ;)), and cut a strip for the card.

To see how I colored this hummingbird, watch the video below or on my Youtube channel. For this card, I only have the watercolor portion videotaped – to see how the rest of the card is made, watch THIS video.

If you liked this video, please give it a big thumbs up and share with a friend! Leave a comment too – I always love hearing from you!

Thanks for stopping in today and God bless!
