Hi there! I’ve got a good ol’-fashioned beautiful floral card for you today, using some ZIG Clean Color Real Brush pens on vellum.
The starting point were the beautiful blooms themselves, Mondo Sakura by Essentials by Ellen, which I stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed in gold. Then I quickly colored it in using ZIG Clean Color Real Brush pens Pale Pink, Cornflower Blue and water. I also added a bit of white gel pen to the stamen of the flowers, to make them pop a little more.
When it comes to vellum, you may have varying success depending on what brand you use. For this card, I used the El Cheapo pack from JoAnn’s – it’s a thin vellum that blends the ZIG’s beautifully. I listed some more brands at the end of this post, in the supply list.
I cut the side of a white Bristol panel with shearing scissors, and then adhered the die-cut flower to it. Because the flower was on vellum, I used a combination of strategic adhesive positioning (behind larger clusters of embossing) and Multi Matte Medium.
I stamped the ‘hello’ in Dusty Blue, then adhered the ‘beautiful’ die-cut on top. The gold die-cut was made by covering a piece of scratch paper with VersaMark and heat embossing a whole lotta gold embossing powder.
Thanks so much for stopping in and have a great day! God bless!
